This is my partner and I's finished piece. We took a background of the Arctic Tundra and put both of our "newimals" on it as a backdrop. The animal on the right is a penguin and a samoyed (a doge) and the one on the left is a pug mixed with a bunny.
I mixed a bunny and a pug for my "newimal."This was sort of easy to do because I remembered how to change the color of the added layer to match the original photo from a project we did by swapping two different faces/bodies.
I found this to be one of the hardest projects we've done because its hard to estimate if your frog and tongue will fit together in an attractive way. I added the frog onto the picture of the tongue and used the clone stamp tool to replicate the texture on the tongue to replace the frog.
I decided to make a logo for hairspray. I replaced the hairspray bottle with "sparkle-o-matic" which is stuff you can spray to make anything sparkly. If I was to do something differently with this project, I would have used a different bottle because it was surprisingly hard to wrap the logo I made around the original hairspray bottle. Finished ProjectThis is the logo I designed using Adobe Illustrator. The most difficult part about this project was using the 'pen' tool in Illustrator. This tool took a day or two to get used to but after that it was a little easier to understand. I used multiple Youtube videos to figure out how to use the pen tool and also how to use shortcuts through my keyboard to make things more convenient. If I was to re-do this project I would add images behind my logo to make it more detailed.
My partner and I chose a stop-motion animated movie called Chicken Run. This movie was released in 2000 and produced by Aardman Animations, Ltd - a British animation studio from Bristol. This company specializes in stop motion clay animation techniques. Chicken Run was the first successful film they released. Aardman also created another well known film; Wallace And Gromit. This is the trailer for Chicken Run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVdlxwX6A7g

I added a quesadilla, Pokemon, and Drake to my picture because I like all 3. Then I made brushes and added them in all around/behind me. If I was to do this a second time, I would pose differently with a different background and add more brushes/create more brushes.
My inspiration for this brush was my water bottle. The problems I came across was cutting the outline out for the water bottle and cutting the gaps.
What I found the most difficult about this project was cropping the initial image of the mouth. There were 3 different ways to cut/crop a photo in Photoshop and I found that changing the "lasso" tool to a different setting really helped me overcome this issue. If I was to re-do this project, I would experiment with different mouths.
