This is my wanted poster. I followed the tutorial on youtube and it was pretty easy considering we've been working with these photoshop tools for a while now and I understand most of them.
I picked this issue because I feel really lucky to recieve a education when people in developing countries don't have one and just by having one it could change their life drastically. I learned a few facts that really surprised me and upset me but I'm glad I researched it.
This is my animation project. It took a while to animate every single action, but I thought it looked cool in the end. I animated this to one of my most favorite songs Say My Name by ODESZA.
This is my hand turkey project. I used the clone tool to make the pattern on the turkey. If I was to do something differently I would make a turkey made out of nature or something different and not a person.
For this project, I used a elephant as something to trace around. I added about 30-45 different layers and fit them on like a collage. I had to use the "magic wand" tool to clean up the pictures to put them onto the collage. Then I erased around the elephant so it would fit/wrap around the picture like I wanted.
This is my finished "translucent" themed piece. I used the "photo filter" tool and also the stamp tool. I thought I could achieve the theme by making bunch of layers and making them different opacities and colors. I played around with the saturations and hue as well. If I was to do something differently, it would be adding a sky picture/ sunrise picture in the background and adding a translucent picutre on top.
This is my edible architecture piece. I decided to take a great pyramid and make it into a pizza house. The light is coming from natural light in the original image so it was semi-easy to find pictures that matched natural lighting. I changed the saturation and hue of the door and windows to match with the pizza better. Also, quick select didn't work on my images I added to the picture, so I had to erase the background out of most of the images I used. I imagine people that like pizza very much would live in this house. (or me)
I made two cinemagraphs for my project. One of me pouring water and another of Noah sticking his tongue out. I decided these would both loop somewhat seamlessly. Making a cinemagraph was easy as long as you follow all the instructions. The only problems I came across was how to color messed up when it was saving. Other than that I think understood the general concept of cinemagraphs.
